WELCOME!

Welcome to the official website of the Epsilon Phi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®. Since 1952, our chapter has been dedicated to promoting the growth of both our sisterhood and the Goldsboro community.

We remain deeply committed to the paths set by our founders, seeking to cultivate high scholastic and ethical standards while encouraging unity and friendship among college women. Our mission is rooted in service—working to alleviate problems facing girls and women, cultivating an interest in college life, and fostering a strong bond of appreciation for one another.

Our impact in the Goldsboro community is driven by our commitment to health and education. We provide vital support through:

  • Leadership workshops for youth.

  • Financial scholarships to help students further their education.

  • Community partnerships with local organizations to improve the lives of individuals and groups.

  •

Building on this legacy, we continue to address modern challenges through program initiatives: Empower Our Families, Building Our Economic Wealth, Advocating for Social Justice, Strengthening Our Sisterhood and Uplifting Our Local Communities.

We invite you to explore our site and learn more about how we continue to act with integrity—the true root of our sisterhood—as we serve our community.

Sincerely,

Nancy Wooten Coor

President 2026-2028
